There are ten different models of Definitive Technology subwoofer, from state-of-the-art to simple, affordable and functional. They offer three different types of subwoofers: the ProSub series; the SuperCube series; and the IWSub series (for in-wall use.)

SuperCube
The SuperCube Definitive Technology subwoofer is a new era of affordable, low-end sound in a compact and stylish package. The SuperCubes are ingeniously engineered to provide sound quality and power superior to comparable models that are 50 - 80% larger in size.

SuperCube I: At fourteen inches square and a piano-gloss black finish, this Definitive Technology subwoofer reaches the mid-20Hz range and performs flawlessly even at intense volumes. It has been described as mixing the exactness of a sealed sub with the power of a ported enclosure.

SuperCube II: The bass offered by this 1cubic foot box is nothing short of astounding. Useful for both music playback and movie watching, this subwoofer isn’t just about explosions or loud blasts in action movies. There is a subtlety to bass that if often overlooked, and which this Definitive Technology subwoofer aims to resurrect.

SuperCube Trinity: The signature powered model out of all the Definitive Technology subwoofers, the trinity delivers bass powerful enough to move “mind, body and soul.” It was designed specifically for the Trinity Church in New York to accompany an electric organic to replace those damaged on by fallout from the World Trade Center collapse, with the goal of reproducing the ultra-deep bass of a pipe organ with enough volume to fill a church.

ProSub
The ProSub Definitive Technology subwoofer creates top-of-the-line bass effects with their powerful and advanced technology, such as built-in amplifiers, complicated electronic crossovers and hi-def cones coupled with an infrasonic radiator. The amplifier used in all the models is Def Tech’s pateneted Infinite Power Source amp.

ProSub 60: While this is the most affordable of the Definitive Technology subwoofers that in no means that its performance is lacking. It still makes use of Definitive’s ground-breaking engineering that was originally used in its best performing woofers. This unit is 9.5”x13.25”x12.5” and available in a black ash finish: simple, understated and effective.

ProSub 800: A compact, high-performance powered subwoofer, this ProSub woofer stretches the limits as far as lows go with other subwoofers in its class. At a compact 10.35”x15.75”x13” and available in either black and white, this Def Tech sub offers unequivocal power to the bottom octaves.

ProSub 1000: Ideally designed to accompany home theater sytems, the ProSub 1000 Definitive Technology subwoofer brings action, realistic sound and a whole lot of fun to the movie-watching scene. Outshining all of its competitors, even at 12”x18”15” this sub is a solid foundation of midbass that works for music and sound effects equally well.

In addition to these two main lines of Definitive Technology subwoofers, they also offer several “IW Subs” or “In-Wall” subs for greatest customizability while still delivering the most advanced and exceptional bass results on the market.
